Pinnacle Real Estate Advisors (Pinnacle), a local, high-growth, dynamic, energetic commercial real estate firm, seeks a full-time Research Manager. The Research Manager will play a pivotal role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market data to support brokerage activities and provide valuable insights to our clients, brokers, and leadership team. The role is pivotal in implementing and managing the company’s proprietary commercial real estate Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

Duties include but not limited to:
- Assist all commercial brokers by building, maintaining, and managing Real Estate Assistant (REA), a contact management program combined with eight relational databases designed specifically to track commercial real estate data.
- Provide support to all brokers and leadership by maintaining and managing the company-wide RealNex CRM, a contact management program combined with eight relational databases designed specifically to track commercial real estate data.
- Conduct in-depth research on commercial real estate market trends, including vacancy rates, absorption rates, rental rates, and comparable property lease and sale data across all asset types.
- Produce timely and accurate quarterly reports, memos, proposals, charts, agreements, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
- Perform research projects for individual brokers/teams and leadership.
- Lead monthly/quarterly product type and deal overview meetings for the company with a concise agenda and meaningful content.
- Train, mentor, and manage Database Associates and Interns to ensure proficiency in research methodologies and CRM usage.
- Communicate regularly with leadership, brokers, and other team members regarding workflow and priorities to ensure priorities and deadlines are met.
- Partner with brokerage teams, marketing department, and leadership to support business development initiatives, business development, and revenue and strategic growth priorities.
- Leverage CoStar and other pertinent software programs, including but not limited to Real Quest, LoopNet, Apartment Insights, Buildout, and CLEAR.
- Conduct fundamental financial analysis and assist in underwriting properties across all product types as requested.
- Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to identify competitive advantages and areas for differentiation.
- Assist with the company's day-to-day operations, including, but not limited to, preparing mailers, updating the annual data book, and various administrative duties upon request.
- Stay informed about industry news, regulations, and emerging trends to provide timely insights and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline research processes, improve data collection methods, and enhance the overall efficiency of the research function.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new brokers/employees on the research department’s pertinent software programs.
- Be an active spokesperson for Pinnacle through career fairs and the recruiting and interview processes.
- Perform other miscellaneous administrative and clerical duties as needed.
Position requirements:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
- Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A minimum of two years of related work experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in the commercial real estate industry and working knowledge of CoStar preferred.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Highly proficient in Excel Data Analysis and Data Visualization and knowledge of creating VBA processes.
- Argus licensed or experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn technology platforms to support various forms.
- Ability to use time effectively and efficiently.
Position benefits:
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $60,000 to $65,000.
