Sales Manager needed for a local, dynamic and energetic commercial real estate firm. In this pivotal role at Pinnacle Real Estate Advisors, you will lead, manage and motivate our team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional service to clients. Reporting directly to the company’s executive leadership, you will oversee the day-to-day sales operations, provide guidance and support to the sales team, and collaborate with support staff to ensure the continued success and growth of the brokerage firm.
The role of a Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Sales Manager requires a strong understanding and significant experience in the commercial real estate market, excellent leadership and communication skills, a results-oriented mindset, and the ability to effectively manage commercial real estate brokers and supporting staff.
Duties include but not limited to:

Sales Performance Analysis
• Define and track key sales metrics and performance indicators.
• Set and regularly assess individual and team performance expectations and goals, ensuring alignment with the brokerage's objectives.
• Utilize historical data and current market trends to forecast future sales and provide accurate revenue projections.
• Coach brokers to effectively showcase Pinnacle’s unique value proposition and competitive advantages to clients. -
Sales Team Leadership and Management
• Nurture a culture of collaboration and high performance through effective leadership, ensuring the brokerage's values and culture are upheld.
• Provide ongoing coaching to enhance the broker’s skills, deepen product knowledge, refine negotiation techniques, and elevate client relationship management.
• Gather feedback from team members about challenges, successes, and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions, offering tailored guidance to address challenges, provide direction, and identify growth avenues for each broker.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations, contributing expertise and fostering rapport as needed.
• Maintain a daily presence in the office, while also having a versatile schedule that allows you to balance your responsibilities as our culture leader and broker mentor. -
Business Development and Recruiting
• Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract top talent to the sales team.
• Formulate strategies and programs that incentivize top-performing brokers, including competitive incentives, career advancement opportunities, and a supportive work environment to ensure the brokerage's growth trajectory.
• Establish a strong presence in the commercial real estate industry through active engagement in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Build and nurture relationships while staying well-informed about latest market trends and developments.
• Conduct thorough analysis of competitors’ strengths, weaknesses, market positioning, and strategic approaches. -
Compliance and Process Adherence
• Act as the Responsible Broker for the firm, maintaining the integrity of all transactions and contracts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations in the real estate industry, ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
• Provide guidance and training on compliance-related matters, ensuring that all team members are well-versed in legal requirements and process adherence. -
Reporting and Communication
• Participate in regular meetings with management and executive leadership, providing insights into broker performance and market trends.
• Utilize communication tools, platforms, and technology to facilitate efficient and timely communication across the organization.
• Collaborate with support staff and marketing to ensure seamless communication and alignment across the organization.
• Track and analyze business development efforts, recruitment activities, and team performance, providing regular reports and insights to executive leadership.
Position requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in business, real estate, finance, or a related field preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding and significant experience (10+ years preferred) in the commercial real estate industry, with a strong understanding of various property types, market dynamics, industry trends, sales, sales training, and management experience.
- Active Real Estate License
- Must complete state approved managing broker's course within 3 months of employment.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications (EXCEL, Word and Outlook).
- Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn new technology platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Understanding and commitment to broker and client satisfaction.
- Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail, ability to interact effectively with people.
Position benefits:
- Base salary of $125,000 to $175,000, negotiable, plus bonus based on experience, recruiting and profitability of the company.
- An all-purpose PTO plan.
- Insurance benefits including medical coverage for employees (Pinnacle pays up to 60% coverage costs for employee, and 50% for dependents) with dental and vision offerings.
